Last week, I took a trip to the west coast to visit Seattle and Portland with my wife, brother-in-law, and mother-in-law. We did all sorts or touristy stuff: In Seattle, we shopped at Pike Place Market, learned about all things pop-culture at the EMP museum, and took in the amazing view from the top of the Space Needle. In Portland, we took a great bike tour and checked out Powell's Books, the coolest and largest book store I've ever seen.
Though I'm usually doing touristy activities while on vacation, I always try to take non-touristy photographs. This time I took along my Pentax LX, and shot solely with my 50mm f/1.4. I used Ilford Delta 400 film. Take a look!

I really like the Pacific Northwest. The weather is much milder and the scenery is way more interesting than Chicago. It'd definitely be a cool place to live someday.
Thanks for looking!
