Katie and I went to the opening day of the Renaissance Faire two weeks ago. Like usual, we had an amazing time. Here are some photographs I took that day using my Pentax LX with a 50mm f/1.4 lens on Ilford Delta 400 film. Most of these photographs are from the drum rave/dance party that occurs near the end of every day. It had been raining and the sky was pretty overcast, so I had to shoot at around f2.8 in order to get a shutter-speed fast enough to freeze my subjects. Hitting the focus dead-on was difficult.
Here are the rest of my photographs:
Bonus: The Shy Photographer! |
I expect to bring a camera along a few more times during the season. Maybe I'll even get in on some Widelux action! :)
